“Everything Is on the One: The First Guide of Funk” has just hit the streets but already the rave reviews are rolling in. Here is a sampling of what music enthusiasts are saying:

“I owe Scott Goldfine a big high five, and more like a big, warm hug. How else to express sincere gratitude for the numerous revelations I am discovering in this labor of love he calls ‘Everything Is on the One: The First Guide of Funk.’ Long a rabid rock, blues and jazz fan, funk has always been more on the periphery of my listening habits. This book is my first deep dive into grasping the largess of the genre. It’s that comprehensive in its musical insights and deep understanding of its musicians. Highly readable and well written, it’s all hip shakin’, toe tappin’ goodness.”

“This is a must-read for all music fans. This is a musical journey that explores the root of funk music and the masters that created some of the most danceable music for baby boomers.”

“I love all music but funk has a special place in my heart. I loved the book, it’s a fast, fun read. Scott Goldfine has an interesting and fun story to tell and he tells it well!” (5 STARS)
