Arrested Development: Unplugged (1993)

arrested development unplugged

By Scott Goldfine

Grammy’s Best New Artist Arrested Development is caught stripped down and live in this session of MTV’s “Unplugged.” The aggregate of rappers, musicians and singers disseminate messages of unity and social consciousness over catchy, sing-along style R&B. A.D. exudes a warm, communal vibe that’s very appealing.

But the absence of their breakthrough single “Tennessee” is curious omission.
