A messenger (Mark O’Loingsigh) infiltrates a drug ring to avenge the poisoning of a friend in this Irish-made crime drama. It’s a standard story done in a conventional way. The acting, which also features Gabriel Byrne, is perfunctory with a climax that is disjointed and muddled.
The only novelties this film has to offer are its setting in Ireland and its soundtrack featuring U2 and Hothouse Flowers. Rated R.
