Neil Young: Unplugged (1993)

neil young unplugged

By Scott Goldfine

Folk-rocker Neil Young is an old hand at acoustic performance, so it should come as no surprise that this album from MTV’s bare-bones “Unplugged” is one of the show’s most fully realized sessions. Playing guitar, harmonica and keyboards, the singer-songwriter presents an impressive career recap of compositions from 1967-1992.

This is an excellent document of one of rock’s most enduring figures.
