Rolling Stones: Steel Wheels (1989)

Rock n’ roll’s venerable bad boys return with their first LP in four years. After 26 years, the Stones’ roguish, bare-bone style still rings true. These 12 tracks — including the rampaging “Hold on to Your Hat” and the haunting “Continental Drift” ― add up to a very satisfying effort.

However, this set lacks a single “classic” Rolling Stones tune.
