Scarface: The Untouchable (1997)

scarface untouchableBy Scott Goldfine

Geto Boys member Scarface has unleashed his fourth solo assault, “The Untouchable.” The Southeast Houston-based rapper plunders the gangsta rap genre with authenticity and authority on a dozen tracks about hustling on the streets of the ‘hood. Fortunately, there’s more to Scarface than braggadocio, as he exhibits on the thoughtful “Smile.”

The late 2Pac, Dr. Dre, Too Short and Ice Cube make appearances.
