Stevie Wonder: Conversation Peace (1995)

By Scott Goldfine

“Conversation Peace,” Stevie Wonder’s first non-soundtrack album in eight years, finds the living legend still preoccupied with affairs of the heart and messages of unity. There’s no denying Wonder’s monumental talents remain intact; in fact, his amazing voice may have become even richer. But his songwriting, both musically and lyrically, has diminished over the years.

Pleasant but forgettable.
