Positioning themselves as the Abba of the 1990s, Swedish quarter Ace of Base has followed up their eight-million-selling debut, “The Sign,” with another serving of catchy songs. “The Bridge,” which features 15 helpings of mostly ingratiating synth-pop, only derails during a few Euro-disco numbers.
If they can survive the backlash of overexposure, the group should have another big seller on their hands.
