Patricia Charbonneau is compelling as Anna, an emotionally frustrated woman whose life takes a drastic turn after she witnesses an underworld murder. Her knowledge thrusts her into a tense triangle between herself, an obscene phone caller and criminals.
The film has an erotic and uneasy quality to it, yet loose ends are left untied and some main characters are devoid of realism. Steve Buscemi also makes an appearance. Rated R.
