David Lee Roth: A Little Ain’t Enough (1991)

david lee roth a little aint enough

By Scott Goldfine

David Lee Roth’s fourth solo endeavor, “A Little Ain’t Enough,” finds the flamboyant singer covering familiar terrain. With a devil-may-care attitude, Roth wraps his limited but distinctive vocals around catchy choruses that shamelessly flaunt their origins — namely Aerosmith, the Rolling Stones and his old band, Van Halen.

It’s not a bad LP, but Diamond Dave isn’t as much fun as he used to be.
