Directed by Richard Linklater, this nostalgic comedy attempts to do for the 1970s what “American Graffiti” did for the 1960s. Borrowing the episodic format of the George Lucas classic, this film follows the exploits of a group of high schoolers on the last day of the 1976 semester.
The amusing “Dazed” earnestly recreates the drugged-out bell-bottomed era, but it has neither the characters nor dimension of “Graffiti.” Includes Matthew McConaughey‘s breakout debut performance. Rated R.
