Superstar Eddie Murphy takes his second stab at singing with 10 tracks of funky pop-R&B. This disc ― produced by Narada Michael Walden, Nile Rodgers and Larry Blackman — is often musically intriguing and far better than Murphy’s first effort.
However, he still hasn’t found his vocal identity and too often merely mimics Michael Jackson and Prince.
