An old college clique — an aging film star (Goldie Hawn), a single mom (Bette Midler) and a housewife (Diane Keaton) ― is reunited by the suicide of a friend in this uninspired comedy. With each woman in the throes of marital discord, the trio forms an organization dedicated to reaping revenge on their cheating husbands.
The cast’s fun is infectious, but the film’s story is trite, meandering and dull. Also stars Maggie Smith, Sarah Jessica Parker, Dan Hedaya and Stockard Channing, and even Rob Reiner shows up. Rated PG.
