Filmmaker Spike Lee, who earlier this year delivered his worst film (“Girl 6”), rebounds with one of his best in this road picture based on last year’s historic Million-Man March. Shot in documentary style, the film depicts the spiritual awakening of a group of 20 black men from L.A. on a bus sojourn to D.C.
“Bus” feels forced at times, but its vital issues make it a ride worth taking. Stars Ossie Davis, Charles S. Dutton and Andre Braugher. Rated R.
