Getting Away With Murder (1996)

By Scott Goldfine

Dan Aykroyd stars as an ethics professor who discovers he’s living next door to an alleged Nazi war criminal (Jack Lemmon) in the alleged comedy “Getting Away With Murder.” Tormented by his morality, the professor liberates his conscience by poisoning the supposed German mass murderer.

But the real unconscionable act is charging people to see this limp, flat bomb that wastes a good cast. Somehow Lily Tomlin also got hoodwinked into this turkey. Rated R.
