“Use Your Illusion II,” part 2 Guns N’ Roses’ successor to its 1987 multiplatinum debut “Appetite for Destruction,” is just as satisfying as part 1. America’s premier hard-rock band serves up a challenging and engrossing set that includes the anti-war anthem “Civil War,” a militant media attack (“Get in the Ring”) and the blistering “Locomotive.”
Hype aside, this sounds like a classic.
