Danny DeVito co-stars and directs Jack Nicholson as Jimmy Hoffa in this look at the man who formed the Teamsters Union. The film covers Hoffa from his rise to union president to his desperate attempt to reclaim the office following a prison term for misappropriating funds.
Offering no insight whatsoever, this bloated, uninvolving gasbag of a movie with its David Mamet screenplay takes the mighty Nicholson down with it. Also stars Armand Assante, J.T. Walsh, John C. Reilly and Frank Whaley. Rated R.
