Rick Moranis reprises his role as a wacky scientist who accidentally experiments on his family in the comedic sequel “Honey, I Blew Up the Kid.” In a spoof of 1950s science fiction, the inventor’s toddler terrorizes Las Vegas after an enlarging beam expands him to skyscraper proportions.
This is an entertaining family film, but it doesn’t generate the level of adventure found in the first one. Lloyd Bridges and Keri Russell also make appearances. Rated PG.
