This fascinating drama tells the story of Valerie Solanas, a radical lesbian who shot pop art icon Andy Warhol in 1968. Brilliantly played by Lili Taylor, Solanas is seen as a struggling writer who infiltrated Warhol’s clique and become dangerously delusional.
The riveting descent of Solanas, whose anti-male manifesto “S.C.U.M.” has been published, rivals Travis Bickle’s in “Taxi Driver.” Also stars Jared Harris (Warhol) and Martha Plimpton. Rated R.
