West Coast gangsta rap progenitor Ice T has emerged from a lull with one of his strongest albums. On “VI: Return of the Real,” actual instrumentation, swanky attitude and churning funk propel tales from the ‘hood about integrity, fast living and the music business.
Ice even throws in a couple of mellow bump-and-grind tracks.But to his discredit, bits of misogyny and anti-Semitism creep in.
