Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards’ second solo studio album recalls some of the unassuming charm of 1988’s “Talk Is Cheap.” Most of his supporting cast has returned, once again laying down a bedrock-solid foundation of R&B-derived rock. Richards’ raspy-voiced musings go down easily on the rhythmic rockets.
Unfortunately, he attempts too much other material that’s beyond his limited scope.
