Progressive foursome Living Colour’s third outing is their most straight-ahead effort to date. Continuing to dwell on themes of prejudice, injustice and ignorance, the band adheres more to tried-and-true heavy metal nuances than in the past.
Crack funk bassist Doug Wimbush has joined the fray and he, along with guitar genius Vernon Reid, help make up for a general lack of memorable hooks.
