The acrimonious parting with lead singer Vince Neil was the best thing that ever happened to hard-rockers Motley Crue. The band’s self-titled album, their first in five years, is the most satisfying of their 12-year career.
Newcomer John Corabi does a fine job on a set that thankfully centers around Led Zeppelin– and Aerosmith-style riffing rather than the Crue’s glam-rock muck of the past.
