In his directorial debut, Dan Aykroyd (who also wrote) stars along with Chevy Chase, John Candy and Demi Moore in this alleged comedy about a demented justice of the peace in the backwoods of New Jersey. The crazed old judge (Aykroyd in lots of latex) torments and tries to kill Chase and Moore.
This tragically flawed film is like a quicksand that sucks down its stars without a single giggle. Rated PG-13.
