Seattle-based rapper Sir Mix-A-Lot has a new label and his sights set on the upper reaches of the pop charts with his third album, “Mack Daddy.” The husky orator keeps things lively with freewheeling lyrics and thunder-clapping grooves. Police harassment, cocaine addiction and macho posturing are among the topics.
Although a little Mix goes a long way, this is his most consistent work to date.
