Former Second City TV veterans John Candy and Eugene Levy head an all-star cast of some two dozen celebrities in this cross-country road race farce. The characters try to outfox each other and avoid police to become the first to reach the California finish line.
There are a few yuks and good stunts along the way, but “Speed Zone” crashes and burns, making it evident why this genre has been so quiet in recent years. Rated PG.
