In a sign of the time, an LAPD officer serves as the ultimate urban monster in this suspense tale. Ray Liotta plays the cop, who becomes obsessed with Kurt Russell’s wife (Madeleine Stowe) and turns the couple’s lives upside down.
The cast keeps its end of the bargain, but if you’ve seen “Fatal Attraction” and “The Hand That Rocks the Cradle,” you already know what this derivative thriller has to offer. Rated R.
