What if the socioeconomic status of whites and blacks was reversed? That’s the question posed by this tragedy starring John Travolta as a factory worker who loses his job and everything dear to him over a misunderstanding. Pushed to the limit, the worker abducts the rich factory owner (Harry Belafonte) who cost him his job.
The concept is solid, but the result is obvious and disappointing. It fails to elevate to its profound ambitions. Also stars Kelly Lynch. Rated R.
