Jamie Lee Curtis, Kevin Kline and Michael Palin star as a band of jewel thieves that gets mixed up with an attorney (John Cleese) in this wild and witty comedy. This movie, which Cleese also co-directed and co-wrote, is the pleasant surprise of the summer.
The cast is marvelous as characters without any sense of scruples, save Cleese who plays it straight. It’s the most enjoyable farce since last year’s “Ruthless People.” Rated R.
