Nicolas Cage is an incarcerated serviceman who gets swept up in the hijacking of a plane full of convicts on the day of his slated release in this action blockbuster. Driven to reunite with his wife and meet his daughter, Cage’s character seeks to foil the hijackers.
Although sometimes preposterous, this offers mindless fun and benefits from a cast that includes John Malkovich as Cyrus the Virus. John Cusack Ving Rhames Steve Buscemi Dave Chappelle and Danny Trejo also climb aboard for the ride. Rated R.
