Fresh off his Rock ‘N’ Roll Hall of Fame induction, funk godfather George Clinton and his P-Funk All-Stars have unveiled this bountiful collection of live material, culled over the past 25 years, along with a couple of previously unreleased studio tracks. The two-CD set includes sprawling, epic versions of classics such as “Cosmic Slop,” “Maggot Brain” and “Atomic Dog.”
Despite a hodge-podge feel and the fact that some of the cuts have previously surfaced elsewhere, this package delivers the grooving goods.
