The venerable sextet succeeds its 1987 commercial breakthrough, “Touch of Grey,” with “Built to Last.” The band lends its familiar folk-rock stylings to an assortment of country-tinged ballads and bouncy, feel-good numbers.
The gospel-flavored “Blow Away” and the pop-ready “Picasso Moon” give this album appeal beyond the immediate sphere of Deadheads.
