Teenage guitar phenom Kenny Wayne Shepherd, who grabbed attention with his opening slot on last year’s “G3” tour with Joe Satriani, continues to thrash away on his Stratocaster with his second blues-rock album. With the assistance of producer Jerry Harrison (Talking Heads), Double Trouble (Chris Layton and Tommy Shannon) and harmonica legend James Cotton, Shepherd occasionally rises to the level of idols Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jimi Hendrix.
