Sylvester Stallone is an unjustly incarcerated auto mechanic who’s persecuted by Nazi-like warden Donald Sutherland in this macho melodrama. The film feebly borrows from “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest,” “The Longest Yard” and “Rocky,” and its scenes drag on endlessly.
The only plus is John Amos’ steady turn as a hardnosed prison guard. Also features Tom Sizemore. Rated R.
