Glenne Headly (“Dick Tracy”) is a woman driven to the brink by her abusive husband (Bruce Willis) in this psychological anatomy of a murder. Demi Moore plays the wife’s best friend and alleged accomplice, whose testimony to a shrewd investigator (Harvey Keitel) serves as the film’s narrative.
This movie has terrific acting, but director Alan Rudolph overdoses on “slow-mo” and the ending is a cheat. Rated R.
