Shortly after moving to rural Maine with his family, a young doctor (Dale Midkiff) discovers an evil burial ground neighboring his new home in this Stephen King-penned horror film. This is King’s first crack at adapting one of his novels, and it shows.
“Sematary” is arguably the author’s most terrifying book, but the movie is stodgy. This story was buried between the page and the screen. Fred Gwynne also stars in this Mary Lambert-directed picture. Rated R.
