This hip comedy about a group of guys seeking to gain the upper hand in L.A.’s dating scene is one of the year’s top sleepers. Make on a miniscule budget, it revolves around an East Coast transplant (Jon Favreau, also screenwriter) who’s depressed over the girl he left behind to pursue acting.
The film’s natural demeanor and keen dialogue make it, as its characters would say, “So money.” Stars Vince Vaughn in a star-making role, along with Heather Graham. Rated R.
