Featured in TIR Episode 294: Singer and entertainer Jimmy “Bo” Horne, best known for the 1978 classic hit, “Dance Across the Floor.” With his first two albums produced, written by and featuring Harry Wayne Casey and Richard Finch of KC & the Sunshine Band, he delivered other catchy and funky tracks like “Gimme Some,” “Get Happy,” “Spank,” “You Get Me Hot” and “Is It In” that helped set the pace of the era’s Miami Dance Sound.
Horne continued to release new music into the 1990s, and as of the time of this interview continues to perform today. His latest song is called, “Starting Tonight.”
