Blues-rock trio ZZ Top brought their elaborate “Recycler” show to Los Angeles for the first of two concerts Sunday night. The veterans rendered near-perfect versions of standards from their 20-year career. The band’s performance, capped off with a knockout encore, was enhanced by the stage’s wild junkyard motif and vivid lighting.
Guitarist/singer Jeff Healey opened with a perfunctory set.
