“Billboards,” the acclaimed Joffrey Ballet show based on the music of Prince, has been brought to home video. Recorded in New York last August, this 75-minute presentation features some of the world’s greatest dancers performing 13 previously unreleased compositions.
Some of the numbers lack pizazz, but the overall effort is to be commended for expanding ballet’s appeal.
