Chris Rock has turned into one of the rarest of breeds — a comedian who’s actually raised his level of performance since departing “Saturday Night Live.” His often uproarious and outrageous second album, “Roll With the New,” makes apparent the seasoning he’s undergone since his 1991 debut “Born Suspect.”
A few missteps aside, Rock hits the mark about O.J. Simpson, blacks and phone sex.
