After a pair of nostalgic albums of standards, singer-guitarist George Benson returns to the sort of smooth but lightweight pop-R&B he indulged in during the late 1970s and early 1980s. The former jazz great has never been the same since achieving massive crossover success with 1976’s “Breezin’” LP.
This mellow set of vocalizations and instrumentals finds Benson still asleep at the wheel.
