K.C. & the Sunshine Band, one of the most successful and disposable groups of the 1970s, has jumped on the revival bandwagon with the concert album “Get Down Live!” Recorded during 1994, this disc rehashes the act’s featherweight disco hits, such as “Shake Your Booty” and “That’s the Way (I Like It),” and bastardizes other classics such as James Brown’s “Sex Machine.”
K.C.’s first, original studio hits were tolerable, but this exercise is dizzyingly putrid.
