Platinum-selling Kiss indulges in its familiar brand of raunch and roll on its 24th album “Revenge.” Founding members Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons, Bruce Kulick and new recruit Eric Singer, who replaces late drummer Eric Carr, churn out catchy anthems of tried-and-true hard-rock themes.
Some of the fretwork is more busy than heartfelt, but devotees should be enthralled.
