“Lady in White” is an old-fashioned romantic ghost story smacking of Spielbergian influence. Set in 1962, the picture centers on a small boy (Lukas Haas) who stumbles onto a mystery involving the supernatural.
It’s a stylish adventure that’s perfect for the whole family (despite its R rating). However, it gets a little too caught up in glossy technique that detracts from the suspense. Also stars Alex Rocco and Katherine Helmond. Rated R.
