Retro hard rockers Masters of Reality have finally put together the follow-up to their masterful 1989 debut “Blue Garden.” “Sunrise on the Sufferbus” finds the band on a new label with new personnel, including ex-Cream drummer Ginger Baker, and a new producer.
With all those changes, the band is unlikely to ever match that first effort. But this mellower album succeeds on its own merit.
