The L.A.-based Red Hot Chili Peppers received a supercharged welcome at their sold-out homecoming concert at the Forum (Inglewood, Calif.) Thursday night. Fortunately, their 80-minute performance was worthy.
With drummer Chad Smith recovered from a broken arm and new guitarist Dave Navarro sharing the spotlight with bassist Flea and singer Anthony Kiedis, the band delivered an electrifying set of funk-rock fury.
