Featured in TIR Episode 205 (Parts 1&2): Duane Tudahl. He’s an award-winning author who’s worked in entertainment more than 30 years and in recent years written two of the most thoroughly researched, detailed and fascinating books documenting Prince’s prodigious creativity and studio sessions.
A Prince fan since 1981, Tudahl began writing about him in the Uptown fanzine and in 2017 published, “Prince and the Purple Rain Era Studio Sessions: 1983 and 1984.” His second book in the series, “Prince and the Parade & Sign O’ The Times Era Studio Sessions: 1985-1986,” was released in June.
A former stand-up comic, Tudahl has also produced and/or directed documentary programming for the History Channel, CBS, Fox, Discovery and other media outlets.
