This soundtrack to the film about 1974’s “Rumble in the Jungle” between Muhammad Ali and George Foreman documents the “Black Woodstock” that preceded the historic bout. Great performances by James Brown, B.B. King and the Spinners, inexplicably shelved until now, are broken up with new cuts by acts like the Fugees, tribal chants and Ali-isms.
While entertaining, the entire concert should be released.
