Milli Vanilli (Rob Pilatus and Fab Morvan) serve up a concoction of R&B, rap and pop on their debut, “Girl You Know It’s True.” Playing tunes about relationships, the duo attempts to bridge the gap between a number of music genres with mixed results. Stronger singing and/or rapping would help give them greater depth.
Most effective are “More Than You’ll Ever Know” and “All or Nothing.”
